Stock #136289
If you think the C7 Corvette is anything less than world class, it's been a while since you took a good look at America's favorite sports car. From strip to show, it's hard to find a better multi-purpose platform than a new Corvette. And when you combine 460 horsepower with paddle-shifted gears and an agile, Nürburgring-proven chassis, you get effortless performance that'll match pretty much anything on the road. This 2014 Stingray 2LT is a 2,759-mile survivor that's been in the care of one meticulous owner. And if you enjoy going fast and turning heads, it's a modern Detroit marvel that's just your style!
CYBER GRAY IS THE BEST GRAY
With mere break-in miles on its bright digital odometer, this showroom-fresh Chevy is an as-new garage queen that's assembly line perfect in virtually every way. The car's chiseled profile wears a glistening coat of Cyber Gray Metallic 2-stage, which is capped by your choice of either a painted targa or a smoked tint targa. That profile begins with a chrome-laced grille, progresses through Metallic Black trim and flows into a small, blade-like spoiler. Cool Stingray emblems, heated power mirrors and a cool combination of HID and LED lighting mix tasteful form with convenient function. And it all adds up to one seriously capable sports car that'll show with the finest classics and run with the fastest challengers!
LT DEJA VU
Like its incredible appearance, this Stingray's engine highlights classic Chevy appeal with a virtual lifetime of technological improvement. Lift the carbon fiber hood and you'll find GM's latest and greatest LT1: an all-aluminum V8 that twists a stout 460 horsepower into an impressive 465 lb./ft. of tire-shredding torque. The newest incarnation of Chevrolet's venerable small block utilizes Active Fuel Management, continuously variable valve timing and direct fuel injection to provide a reliable mix of Main Street efficiency and world class performance.
SPEAKING OF WORLD CLASS PERFORMANCE
For the most part, Corvettes have always been great track cars, and this slick coupe benefits from decades of engineering prowess and a few tricks learned by Chevrolet's own Le Mans race team. The car's wide fenders frame a 5-mode independent suspension that benefits from GM's familiar Active Handling Stability Control. At the center of the floors, a paddle-shifted 6L80 6-speed engages a limited-slip differential and mild, 2.56 gears. Speed-sensitive variable-ratio power rack-and-pinion steering ensures turn-in is light and constantly engaging. At the corners, a standard antilock braking system clamps 4-piston calipers on 12.5 and 13.5-inch vented rotors. Optional multi-mode exhaust takes the soundtrack from soothing to brutal with the stomp of a foot. And power pounds the pavement via optional chrome aluminum wheels, which spin 245/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports in front of 285/35ZR19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
A DESERT, IT IS NOT
Behind the doors, you'll find dashing Kalahari leather that balances excellent convenience with a whole lot of style. The car's 8-way power-adjustable seats are heated and ventilated. Optional carbon fiber dash trim centers digital telemetry between a color Head Up Display and Chevy MyLink infotainment, which pipes Navigation, Bluetooth, MP3s and XM Radio through an optional Bose 10-speaker sound system. Below that dash, an optional 2LT console balances a Kalahari-spiced shifter on clean carpet and snazzy Corvette sills. In front of the driver, a leather-wrapped steering wheel caps an optional tilt and telescoping column. And naturally, all the luxuries you'd expect in a high dollar sports car are present and accounted for including: OnStar, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, Universal Home Remote, keyless entry with pushbutton start, power windows, power door locks, an auto-dimming mirror, and an advanced theft deterrent system.
