This striking Roush Stage 3 takes those crowd-pleasing traits and wraps them in two things Mustangs arguably wear best – dramatic paint and aggressive trim. At the front of the car's posh Performance White body, Roush high-flow grilles hang an offset “3” emblem between stylish HID headlights, aero driving lamps and an aggressive chin spoiler. Behind that grille, a louvered GT hood anchors an optional Roush scoop between ghosted “ROUSHCHARGED” scripts, body-matched mirrors and a tinted greenhouse that's adorned with silver “ROUSH” lettering. At the sides of that hood, monochromatic Roush splitters frame a short antenna, optional quarter louvers and traditional Roush Performance emblems that are founded on sporty cove decals. And at the back of the car, a Roush-designed fascia hangs LED tail lamps between a 3-piece Roush spoiler, a Roush-designed valance and Roush-specific exhaust.

Created as a turnkey package for enthusiasts who want a reliably engineered Mustang that unlocks the full potential of Ford's newly minted Coyote motor, the Roush Stage 3 utilizes an intercooled R2300 supercharger to twist a stout 565 horsepower into a stellar 505 lb./ft. of torque. That patented ROUSHcharger is an Eaton-produced Twin Vortices Series blower that exhales through a relocated and redesigned single core cross-flow intercooler, which helps manage on-track temperatures and create gobs of torque-rich power. In front of that blower, a Roush Phase II Cold Air Induction Kit makes good use of a 110mm MAF tube, a larger clean air tube and an open air box. And behind that kit, a standard Roush intake adds performance while optional Roush coil covers add a bit of flash. Ford's newest V8 is a very strong engine as is, but the experts at Roush went ahead and installed a beefier cooling system and a recalibrated PCM in case this Mustang's new owner wanted to spend ample time at the track. As with all newer Roush products, the car's left shock tower proudly displays a Roush Performance badge, which lists the engine's power output and verifies its authenticity. And on the car's right shock tower, you'll find a satin metal plate with the signature of the technician who bolted the engine together.

Straight from Dearborn the D2C Mustang platform is a very capable foundation; and with a few upgrades from Roush Performance, it becomes a true force to be reckoned with! Behind the engine, a factory 6-speed drives a rugged Ford 8.8-inch axle that, according to the car's owner, sports spry, 3.73 gears. That stout drivetrain powers a tuned front strut and 3-link rear suspension that's fitted with a larger front stabilizer bar, uniquely-valved shocks, increased-rate springs, better bushings and a Roush anti-wheel hop kit. Turns come courtesy of factory power steering. Braking is handled by a combination of Ford and Brembo binders, which are aided by standard anti-lock hardware. The car's killer engine note is provided by rowdy Roush mufflers, which are a 'no brainer' dealer-installed option. And at the corners of the floor, 275/35R20 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s twist fantastic Roush wheels that reflect optional Hyper Black finish.

Peek through the car's blackened windows and a stylish, driver-friendly interior stares back. Highly bolstered, green-stitched seats fit snug as a glove. In front of those Stage 3-spec thrones, a leather-wrapped steering wheel laps a “Jack Roush USA” branded dash, which complements chrome-trimmed instrumentation with a Roush boost gauge. Ford's acclaimed SYNC infotainment hangs familiar Shaker audio above a cool “Stage 3” emblem, a “ROUSH” branded console and a suede-booted shifter that tops more green highlight stitching with a white Roush cue ball. That console rides clean carpet, which floats “ROUSH” branded mats between snazzy Mustang sills and metal foot pedals. And at the sides of the car, green-stitched suede fronts standard power windows and standard power door locks.
