1975 Volkswagen Microbus 23-Window Conversion

Description

Oh, buckle up and get ready for a thrilling ride through the realms of nostalgia! The VW Microbus 23 Window is an absolute icon, a symbol of freedom, and a rolling piece of counterculture history that creates excitement everywhere it roams.

Picture this: a sun-kissed day, blue skies above, painted white lines zipping by – the Microbus, standing tall with its two-tone paint job, like a rolling poster of the '60s and '70s. The unmistakable split windshield, like a panoramic portal to adventure, frames the road ahead. The 23 windows, as the name suggests, create an almost greenhouse effect, allowing natural light to flood the spacious interior and providing passengers with an immersive, open-air experience. It's a lifestyle, a symbol of wanderlust and camaraderie. The front end is a friendly face, adorned with the iconic VW emblem, almost beckoning you to jump in and hit the road.

Swing open the doors, and you're greeted by a fully restored interior which is surprisingly spacious and versatile. The 23 Window's layout is a masterclass in efficient design, with a custom wraparound bench seat, folding work surface, and an encased mini fridge that make it the perfect canvas for road trip dreams. The combination of vintage charm and practicality is simply irresistible.

Fire up the newly overhauled 1,600cc air-cooled engine, and you're in for a treat. The distinctive purr of that rear-mounted powerplant is music to the ears of any true Microbus enthusiasts. A 4-speed manual gearbox backs the stout 4 cylinder and sends power to ground with the help of new whitewall radial tires. Highway comfort is aided by updated Type II suspension and power front disc brakes.
