Pushing 670 RWHP out of a Vortech Supercharged 347 stroker V8 built by Jack Merkel Race Engines and backed up with an enhanced T5 5-speed transmission. Helping with that power is a modified exhaust system and a stiffened chassis.

Power is moved via an aluminum driveshaft to the posi rearend sporting Auburn gearset. Stopping power is done by four-wheel disc brakes. Suspension comes from Racecraft Suspension along with Steeda adjustable control arms. ROH Wheels with 17x8 front & 17x9 rear, help the car handle in the corners and straightaways.

Saleen body modifications featured distinctive enhancements including aerodynamic front and rear fascia's, side skirts, rear spoiler, and other design elements that set it apart from the standard Mustang models.
