1962 Chevrolet Impala SS

Description

Carefully updated, and powered by a 350 cubic inch V8, this impressive Impala resto-mod is the kind of fully sorted cruiser that you can fire up, press the go pedal and road trip across the country in!

The detailed, body-on restoration of this Chevy displays clean bodywork and striking Guards Red paint that simply glistens under our bright showroom lighting. Clean brightwork and stainless trim elongate the already sleek body lines. And a custom side-exit exhaust, complemented with Flowmaster mufflers, has been frenched in just forward of the rear tires.

A custom, body color matched engine compartment showcases the nicely-dressed small block 350 under the hood. Backing the smooth idling V8 is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission which feeds 3.31 gears out back.

Inside, you are welcomed by a handsomely tailored cabin that features digital gauges, tilting billet aluminum steering wheel, a hidden Pioneer head unit in the glove box, and a custom center console that hosts controls for the adjustable air suspension. And air conditioning dials keep the cabin comfortable.

The chassis has been updated with Ridetech adjustable air suspension and Ridetech tubular control arms. Stops are provided by power-assisted Baer calipers, which clamp large, drilled and slotted rotors. Power rack and pinion brings steering into the 21st century and, at the corners, chrome 20” Vision wheels bring the entire look together.

Fully sorted and ready to roll, this awesome Chevy is a wonderful classic to drive, enjoy and haul two or three of your coolest friends in! It's a custom classic that sounds just as good as it looks!
