1979 Lincoln Mark V

Description

Experience True Luxury with this 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V

Timeless Elegance
Draped in stately light red paint, this Continental exudes Malaise Era opulence. Signature details include a Valino roof, chrome accents, original cornering lamps, and a massive Continental decklid. Its 40 years of care shine through, with factory details like folding headlights and a sharp “Mark V” grille still intact. There's nothing like cruising in a 'Motor City Behemoth' to appreciate true smoothness.

Powered by Cleveland
Under the hood is Ford's robust 400 cubic inch Cleveland V8, producing 159 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. Believed original, the engine bay is clean and functional, featuring factory air conditioning and correct components.

Built for the Road
The C6 3-speed automatic transmission, 9-inch rear axle, and 2.75 gears make for effortless highway cruising. A heavy-duty suspension, power steering, and disc/drum brakes ensure a solid ride, while 15-inch radial white walls complete the period look.

Luxurious Interior
Inside, plush white leather seats, wood-trimmed accents, and power accessories define '70s luxury. Features include a Cartier clock, air conditioning, and an AM/FM Cassette player.

Own an icon of '70s luxury
With smooth road manners, full-size comfort, and unmistakable style, this Continental is a standout of its era. Now over the AACA's 25-year limit, it's a perfect choice for show or road. If you seek a refined, distinctive classic, this Lincoln won't disappoint!
